YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy, in plain English.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Who looks after your information?
Meet Syra is the brand developing the Syra indoor air monitor. This notice explains how information is handled when you use this website or join the interest list.
When you register your interest
We collect your email address to send occasional product-development updates and news about the UK launch. Signing up is optional and does not reserve or purchase a product. We rely on your consent for these emails and ask you to confirm your address.
MailerLite manages the signup form, subscription records and email delivery for us. It also processes technical information, such as your IP address, signup time and confirmation or unsubscribe activity, to operate the service, record consent and prevent abuse. We do not sell your email address.
Your choices
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our updates. This does not affect processing before you withdrew consent. We keep subscription details while you remain signed up and the updates remain relevant. If you unsubscribe, we stop marketing and retain only records needed to honour your preference, demonstrate consent or meet legal obligations.
Our service providers
MailerLite and its service providers process information to provide the email service. Some processing may take place outside the UK, with the safeguards described in MailerLite’s data processing agreement. Read MailerLite’s privacy policy for its handling of service data.
Our website hosting and security providers also process ordinary connection data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website for this processing.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to measure page visits, campaign sources, registration-link clicks and successful form submissions. A form submission is not proof of a confirmed email subscription. If you accept the updated analytics choice, we also store campaign labels (such as the advert or campaign that brought you here) alongside your email address in MailerLite. This helps us understand which campaigns lead to confirmed signups. Earlier analytics choices remain valid without a repeat prompt and do not enable this additional linking or recordings. With the updated permission, we also use session recordings to understand clicks, scrolling and navigation. Email fields are excluded, other form inputs are masked, and console logs and network request contents are not recorded. We do not send your email address or form contents to PostHog. Recordings are kept for up to 30 days. PostHog receives technical connection information to process these events; IP anonymisation is enabled. Random identifiers in session storage connect activity within your browser session. We keep analytics events for up to one year.
Analytics is off until you accept. You can decline and still use the website and signup form. Change or withdraw your choice using “Privacy preferences” in the footer; withdrawal stops future collection. We remember your preference in local storage for up to six months. We rely on your consent for this analytics processing. Read PostHog’s privacy notice.
Optional advertising measurement
If you enable Advertising in Privacy preferences, the Meta Pixel shares page visits and accepted interest-form submissions with Meta to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. A Lead event means the form was accepted, not that an email was confirmed or a purchase made. Meta receives website URLs, browser and device information, IP addresses and advertising identifiers, and may link this activity to your Meta account. We do not provide signup email addresses to the pixel, and automatic advanced matching is off.
Meta may set first-party cookies called _fbp and _fbc, typically lasting up to three months, to recognise a browser and connect ad clicks with website activity. Meta may also use its own cookies. Processing may take place outside the UK under Meta’s applicable transfer safeguards. Read Meta’s privacy policy and cookie policy.
Advertising is off until you choose it. Previous analytics permission does not enable Meta tracking, and existing visitors are not prompted again. You can change each option independently or withdraw permission in Privacy preferences. We remember these choices for up to six months. Withdrawal stops future pixel events and removes Meta’s first-party advertising cookies from our site; it does not erase information already received by Meta. We rely on your consent for this processing.
Signup storage and email activity
No TikTok advertising pixel is installed. The signup service may use browser storage needed to operate the form and recognise submissions; see MailerLite’s form storage information. Email delivery and subscription activity are recorded to manage the list. We will update this notice if the way we use information changes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw marketing consent at any time.
You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
